Job Title: Residential Accountability and Stability Coach (RASC)

Location: St. Petersburg

Type: Part-time ( can lead into full time )

Starting Salary:$17/hour, with additional overnight stipend
 
Overview:
We  at Vibe transitional homes ( Vibe Recovery)  are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Accountability and Stability Coach (RASC) to join our transitional living home, which supports adults overcoming addictions and youth aging out of foster care. This role is vital in guiding our clients  through their journey towards independence and stability.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and coaching to residents, focusing on life skills, accountability, and personal growth.
- Assist clients in overcoming challenges related to addictions, behavioral issues, and transitioning to independent living.
- Facilitate transportation needs for clients  for appointments, work, or educational purposes.
- Participate in the planning and execution of house tasks, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the home.
- Offer support in developing and implementing individualized plans that address the unique needs of each client .
- Conduct regular check-ins and progress tracking for clients .
- Be available for on-call duties, including occasional overnight stays (with an overnight stipend provided).
 
Qualifications:
- Experience working with at-risk youth and adults (some with addiction issues.) 
- Strong knowledge of behavioral management and life skills training.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 clearance background check.
 
Desirable Skills:
- Crisis intervention skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
- Experience in a residential setting or similar environment.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
